Unifying Evolutionary Theory: Connecting Adaptive Dynamics, Population Genetics & Quantitative Genetics

This minisymposium (M40) will be held at the ECMTB 2014 meeting in Gothenburg on Sunday 15th of June between 4pm-7pm in room RunAn. Welcome! PLEASE NOTICE THE CHANGE OF ROOM! RunAn.

M10 is going to be hold in Ascom instead.

The previously disparate field of theoretical evolutionary modeling are beginning to interact. The increasing incorporation of demographics and frequency-dependent selection in population and quantitative genetics, as well as a recent study on diploid adaptive dynamics, demonstrates that the evolutionary modeling frameworks are converging. The unification of existing theories will greatly improve our understanding of evolution.

Thanks for attending this minisymposium.
